This project was solo, design-focused assignment that acted as an exercise in iterative development and practice in taking mechanics from various games and iterating them to become something completely different. The game that I ended up with had mechanics taken from card-based board games (Love Letters & Sushi Go) and iterated upon to create a different experience.

 

The idea of the game was to rotate around a board collecting resources to trade and/or steal from other players. Each cards value would change corresponding to which area (season) the player was in. The player with the most resources at the end of two rotations of the board would win.
